Chapter 3

I heard Lauren screaming and i sat up looking around and instantly was overwhelmed with smoke. I rolled over and fell to the floor coughing hard. "SARA" i heard Lauren yelling and I coughed as I slowly start to move forward looking around and as i went to touch my door it was really really hot. I backed up knowing the fire was right outside my door. I moved over to the side door that led to Lauren's room. I crawled in and saw her door open so i crawled out into the hall. I got up on my knees my fire fighting senses kicking in ."LAUREN!" I screamed as i looked around.

I couldn't see anything so i got back down and i crawled down the hall toward where I had heard her yelling before. "LAUREN" i kept yelling as i had a wet rag over my face so I didn't inhale the smoke. I heard the fire department outside and the police and ambulances. I kept looking for her as I opened the one side door that led to the guest section of the house.

"LAUREN" i yelled one more time as I opened the one guest door where the fire started from. She was laying on the floor in a pool of what looked like blood "LAUREN!" I screamed and ran over to her and rolled her over. Someone had beating the living hell out of her and I was scared. My whole body was shaking as i ripped the shirt i had on and used to put over her wounds and then put her up over my shoulders in a firemens carry and hurried out of the side of the house toward the front. I laid her down on the grass as I checked to see if she was breathing.

She wasn't so i started CPR on her cause I had grabbed my medical kit from under my bed. I put the mask on her and started to give her CPR begging her to start breathing. "Damn it Lc dont u fucking die" i growled out as I kept going. I did this for about 5 minutes until she started coughing and I rolled her on her side as she got sick. I held her hair back and held her there til she started breathing normally. I picked her up the same was I did when i carried her out and walked over to where the ambulances where.

As we were walking I heard her whisper "It was him" i knew exactly who she met as the medics ran over and took her from me and bandaged the cuts and stuff I had. I went to the hosptial with her and once there I called Sid.

"Hello?" He answered

"Big brother...." i said into the phone my voice shaking

"Sara what happened?" he asked getting worried

"there was a fire...and...the house is...gone everything's gone" i said softly

"are u alright is Lauren alright!" he yelled getting really worried

"yeah...i got Lauren out we are headed back to Pittsburgh to see u guys...." i said then hung up when his line went dead

I sighed and walked into the hospital where Lauren was signing out. I walked over and asked "are you alright?" she nodded and said "only a broken arm" she motioned to the cast on her arm. I took her hand and we walked out and into the taxi waiting and drove to the airport.

We only had our pajamas and Mario had our set up a private plan for us and we were led out to the plane and got onto the plane. We got blankets and sat on the plane. I let Lauren use me as a pillow as we flew from Nova Scotia down to Pittsburgh. We slept most of the way well at least did because of the fact that I didn't want to close my eyes. I knew who had beat the hell out of her and I knew I was gonna confront him about it I just had 2 get a hold of him first.

It took us about 10 hours to get there because we had to stop due to the fact that there was some bad weather. We finally arrived in Pittsburgh the next morning and got off the plane. We got into the taxi and drove to Mellon arena because the guys were at practice. I got out of the taxi followed by Lauren and I winced getting out cause I had a pretty nasty burn on my side.

I was walking when I heard someone say "Sara' and I turned around and saw Mike Rupp walking out of the trainers room and he ran into the room and yelled "SID GET UR ASS OUT HERE" Next thing I knew Sid bolted around the corner and hugged me tight. I let out a yelp of pain as i held my side and blood started to soak through. Lauren grabbed Sid hugging him close as Mike took me to the trainers room and pushed everyone out of the room while Heinzy bandaged my side.

I walked out pretty much in Sid's sweatpants and a Penguins tank top that Henizy had in the back of the room. I walked over my hair thrown up into a messy bun. I walked over and saw Lauren sitting on Sid's lap and I sat on the couch around the corner not wanting to break up their moment knowing that Lauren was scared out of her mind.

I sat there as I waited and Mike walked around the corner and he sat beside me. "hey are u alright?" he asked softly looking at me. I shrugged as I looked down and I heard that the Canadians had made it and I walked over to their side. I walked around the corner grabbed the one and turned him around to reveal it was Carey Price and I punched him in the face.

"Next time u have someone try and kill Lauren make sure they don't leave ur fucking symbol on the god damn wall!" i growled out as he stood up. He looked at me like I was crazy and i say "She's alive because I was there dumb ass....." i growl and went to hit him again but get grabbed by Halaik and got drug back to my side. He threw me into the Penguins area and I went back after them snarling but Jordan grabbed me. I threw him off and walked away still pissed off and Rupp stopped me.

"What the hell happened?" he asked "Make sure u take out Price that's all put him out for the rest of the god damn season" i yelled as I saw Lauren walk around the corner and I walk past her as I could just tell she knew that I knew what he did to her. I walked out and into Pittsburgh I still didn't have shoes on as I was walking but I heard the rev of an engine and turned around and saw that amazing Truck Rupp owned. I jumped up into it after he stopped and he drove me to my apartment and walked me upstairs parking his truck in the guarded garage underneath of the complex.

"What the hell happened why did u snap?" he asked me again as I walked to my door and opened it "He tried to kill Lauren thats why the hell I snapped" i growl as I opened the door to my apartment only to hear the words "hey baby" and i snapped my head up to see my ex boyfriend Mike Green standing in the center of my living room.....

Chapter 1// A Secret Revaled

It was that time of the year it was time of the year it was the annual meeting of Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby. This was the game that my dad and I were so excited to go to I loved to go watch my brother play. I was in my apartment whenever my doorbell rang and I walked over and when I opened the door i saw my dad..

"DADDY!" i yelled as i jumped into his arms and smiled. He caught me and backed into my room and shut the door as I hugged him tightly. I smiled and said "So ready to watch Sidney beat Ovechicken!?" I asked with alot of happiness in my voice. You see i never got to spend much time ith my father because when we were little he always was working and when he wasn't working he was with Sidney at a hockey game or a practice.

He smiled at me and said "yes lets get going" he smiled and I walked over and got the car and smiled happily glad to spend time with my father. We got to the arena and went in the players entrance and as we did I saw Sidney walking so I got out of the car then sneakily ran over to him and kicked him in the butt. He turned around and looked really mad but then he saw me standing there and he picked me up squeezing me tightly.

"Sara what are you doing here?" he asked with a a lot of happiness in his voice. "Since daddy is in town he figured this could be our bonding time since I never got to spend time with him when we were little" I said with a smile as he set me down and put his arm around me and we walked into the arena. We talked as we walked then as we turned and walked toward the locker room it was like a zoo was unleashed the Paparazzi was everywhere as were the TV crews. I hide my face as we walked into the locker room and he hid me in the trainers room.

I didn't think much of what happened but later that night after I went to go sit with my dad it was a TV time out period and I stood up and stretched "Well it seems like our Sidney Crosby is off the market ladies" I looked up at the screen in absolute shock as they showed the video from earlier and then showed a picture from this summer when I went and spent some time with my parents I stayed at Sid's they have a picture of him walking out and me on the porch waving.

I felt anger and frustration come to my face as I took Sid's hoodie and the keys to my car and I ran out of the arena. I looked and saw that Sid looked PISSED but I hurried out of there as quick as possible. I went back to my apartment and packed my stuff up and i called the one person that I knew I could trust. Sidney's actual girlfriend Lauren Cullen but I always call her LC

LC: Hello?

Sara: Lauren I need you

LC: Hunny, what happened?

Sara: They think I'm sidney's girlfriend I just need 2 get out of this city for awhile

LC: Why don't u go to the airport get a ticket and come up here to Nova Scotia and spend some time with me you have the next 3 months off from school so just come up here its fine I'll protect u up here

Sara: Alright LC ill call u when I land.....I'm not gonna tell Sid or Dad

LC: That would be best

Sara: Alright LC thank u....

I hung up and drove to the airport and got a ticket to Nova Scotia and flew up. After I landed Lauren met me at the airport and took me to her house which was exactly 1 mile from Sidney's. "I dont know what to do LC....its like no matter what I do they think i'm involved with my own brother!" i shivered at the thought. I didn't want to admit it but I did love someone on the team but I would never tell my brother or even Lauren who it was.

"They wont find you here so just relax and if they do then I have a license sayin the media isn't allowed here on my property so they will be arrested" she said hugging me as i set my head on her shoulder crying so frustrated. As i cried I heard my cell ring and I looked at it "OH no...its sidney" i whispered then I answered it.

"Hello?" - Me

"SARA LYN CROSBY WHERE THE HELL ARE U" -Sidney yelled from the other line

"Im safe now dont' worry about me" i said back flinching

"Why the hell did u just leave why didn't u wait for me!"- he asked angrilly

"Please....big brother don't be mad at me....ik your mad but please....i had to get out of there....i'm with Lauren up home....i'll be back in acouple weeks but i just need some time to relax and get away"- Me with my voice cracking

At this point Lauren took the phone and said "Sidney, babe...she is with me she is safe don't worry when I come down to spend time with you i'll bring her back she needs a break ok? Now, i'm makin her go to bed I love you Good Night" and with that she hung up the phone.

I went up to the guest room and fell asleep but the next morning I woke up to the sound of Lauren yelling and the smell of smoke....

We all have secrets and with Sidney Crosby he has a secret that only one other person knows. That secret is that he has a twin sister named Sara who is living in Pittsburgh.

Sidney Crosby is if not the best one of the best hockey players in the whole NHL today. Though everyone thinks that they know everything about him when really they don't know anything. My name is Sara Lyn I am Sidney's younger twin sister (only by 1 minute and 27 seconds which ironically is 87 seconds) Sidney and I were close as could be but when he started becoming famous I stayed out of his light. I went into skating realated stuff but I loved Figure Skating more then I loved hockey.

Everyone tells me I dont look like sidney but its because I look like my mother. Though if u put him and I together we smile the same, walk the same and have the same big butt. Sidney helps me though everything and he is my main backbone. I live in Pittsburgh now but no one ever believes that he is my brother so I just never tell them that I am.

We decided to keep it that way atleast until I went up to Nova Scotia to visit Mom and Dad and I spent the night in Sidney's house and a paparazzi caught a picture of me coming out. I didn't think anything of it but what will happen when accusations start rising and the secret comes out?

What feelings will come to the surface and will the reveal of my secret end up breaking up the team???
